Adults facing unemployment are often eager to learn meaningful trades. At our vocational training center besides teaching basic life-skills, we’ve helped disenfranchised young people become professionals in cooking and baking. These have become sought after employees due to the work ethic and integrity built into our training.
Students … Old and Young
Here we share about two students, so you will understand more about them and keep interceding for their life, work, and service in their community!
Alice*
She is our oldest student, at 60 years old! After she retired from a government related NGO job, she came to study at our program. She brings rich experience, history, and maturity to our program.
Barbara*
She is the youngest student of our program: 23 years old! She came from a nearby country* to work in the big city. Only about three months ago, she started the program. She is working a pharmaceutical company and is deeply saddened by the fact that there is so much corruption in the business. She is trying hard to be a good example in the company, but it is not easy.
